Bug Description

There have been two further releases of libechonest since 2.1.0. Please update the relevant packages to the upstream release (https://projects.kde.org/projects/playground/libs/libechonest).

Sadly the debian maintainer is unable to upgrade the package because:

"Sadly echonest uses the first *and* second version number to form the SONAME.
This means I need to do a transition in order to push a new version to
unstable, and we can't do that right now due to the freeze process."

The tomahawk project (https://launchpad.net/tomahawk) needs libechonest2.3 for packaging tomahawk 0.8.x.
I've packaged libechonest2.3 in my PPA (https://launchpad.net/~justin-time/+archive/ubuntu/tomahawk).
