Bug Description

After yesterday's upgrade of libdrm-intel1, libdrm-nouveau1a, libdrm-radeon1 and libdrm2 to 2.4.39-0ubuntu0.1 on Ubuntu 12.04, my Arrandale GPU has started to hang occasionally. Since I'm using drm_kms_helper to override EDID on a faulty laptop display, I'm not sure how this will affect others.

I had to hard-reset and boot up again, so I'm not sure that this traceback from syslog was included in the attachments.

The possibility to downgrade to version 2.4.32 seems to broken due to missing dependencies, so regression testing might be difficult...

I've downgraded the following packages to 2.3.32:
libdrm-radeon1
libdrm2
libdrm-intel1
libdrm-nouveau1a
but the bug is still reproducible. So I guess it is also related to the following rendering packages, which have been updated two days before libdrm changes were introduced:

libegl1-mesa-drivers
libgl1-mesa-dri
libgl1-mesa-glx
libglapi-mesa
libegl-mesa
libgles2-mesa
libglu-mesa

I forgot to mention that the program I use to reproduce the bug is a i386 binary, which depends on libqt4-opengl:i386.

Will try to revert the mesa stuff and report back later.
