Bug Description

when invoking the command ffmpeg, the output reads:

---
This program is not developed anymore and is only provided for compatibility. Use avconv instead (see Changelog for the list of incompatible changes).
---

Since ffmpeg is still being developed on (ffmpeg.org) and the devs know this (see bug Bug #1004174 ), the above statement that the program shows is misinformation and a deliberate and outright lie.

When it comes down to programming I can live with bugs but i can't live with dishonesty.
politics and code do not mix very well.
therefore i consider this bug as severe.

possible solution:
change the text to:

---
This program is a fork of ffmpeg and the ffmpeg command is only provided for compatibility. Use avconv instead (see Changelog for the list of incompatible changes).
---
