Bug Description

libasyncns is needed as a b-d of loudmoyth.

looked at the package and
 - updated to 0.8 (is 0.3 in Debian, released in 2007)
 - enabled running the testsuite
 - added a symbols file.

no further bug reports in Debian and Ubuntu.

We already have adns in main, otoh this is a one file library. unsure if it's worth adopting loudmouth instead of the promotion.

We currently get loudmouth unmodified from Debian. Since this is a simple library, I think it would be less maintenance work to promote this and deal with the unlikely event of an issue that needed fixing post release than to take on the burden of developing and maintaining a port to adns.

My recommendation is that we go with promoting libasyncns.

Approved. I fixed debian/copyright to note that the license is actually LGPL-2.1+, not LGPL-2+. It would also be nice if there was a bug subscriber.

I'm having it added the packages in to kubuntu-bugs.
