First time submitting a patch - would appreciate feedback

0.9.11 is available in Debian git. Could you just get source from there and add new Ubuntu revision by 'dch -i' to 0.9.11-0ubuntu1?

We use fakesync in version only with syncs, if md5sums tarballs are different.

Please remember that our current development cycle is natty, not maverick. If you want to do something with maverick, please follow with SRU or backport.

Aha, would be nice if you will pull your package to Bazaar.

This bug was fixed in the package libass - 0.9.11-0ubuntu1

libass (0.9.11-0ubuntu1) natty; urgency=low

  * Upload to natty (pkg-multimedia), no Ubuntu changes. (LP: #615734)

libass (0.9.11-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release
    + Refresh patch
    + Add new symbols to symbol file
  * Switch to format 3.0 (quilt)
  * Use bzip2 tarball
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.1 (no changes required)
  * Use googlecode.debian.net redirector
