  * New upstream release (LP: #410112).
  * debian/control: Set maintainer-fields.
  * debian/patches/001-mplayer-updates.diff: Removed, fixed upstream.

As discussed on the Debian bug, has SONAME bump been taken care of? What about transition plat for packages that build-depend on libass

Like Onkar Shinde said, there is a SONAME bump, so you need to :
- Adapt the package for this (like renaming the binary libass)
- Prepare the transition for all rdepends of libass (list all the packages affected, prepare bugs/debdiff for rebuild etc ...)

Debian testing already has 0.9.7-3, this or later version will be automatically imported for Ubuntu 10.04.
