Furthermore, it looks like the latest version is 3.18-1ubuntu1 (not 3.13-1)

and also with jackaudio, both in real-time and non-rt :

THANKS for the fantastic work, but the same error on Ubuntu Studio 13.10. lebiniou 3.18 works fine except for any kind of audio input (jackaudio, pulseaudio, alsa), both in real-time and non-rt. I love the programme and the effects. I use the application to make videos for my band and have used it for effects with a beamer projecting on a screen behind the band. It would be terrific to have audio support.

Does the bug still exist in Ubuntu/3.19.1-1ubuntu1 ?

Original tarballs and Debian packages are ok, so I suspect something is being wrong with the linker and/or shared libraries
dependencies in the Ubuntu port

Could you please share the output of

$ ldd /usr/lib/lebiniou/plugins/input/jackaudio/jackaudio.so

for a start ?

I tried to install latest lebiniou_3.22-1_i386.deb and also lebiniou_3.19.1-1ubuntu1_i386.deb but those failed for too old libavutils54. Note that I am using a bit older Ubuntu named precise , and latest for that is still 3.13. Please try to look at list of versions from here:

I see two options here:

* Ask Ubuntu to backport a recent version to the precise distribution

* Compile from the sources, it's pretty straightforward, I can give you
informations for that if needed
