For future reference, if you are experiencing the same issue in an already reported bug you do not need to report another one. Simple reading the original and adding any information which you think is missing is the best course of action.

Thanks, I thought it was a different one but with the 20 some replies saying
otherwise I now know better.
Is there anyway I can change the status myself after being updated?

Yes, there is. You can mark it as a duplicate by clicking on the link "Mark as Duplicate" on the left hand side of this page. Then you enter the bug number of the bug which is the "master" bug.

Or, if you just want to close a bug you have reported, you can set the status to "invalid" by clicking on the drop down arrow in the yellow bar near the top of the page.
