Bug Description

Binary package hint: laptop-mode-tools

Im using an asus 1000hg, my system uses /sys/devices/system/cpu/sched_smt_power_savings.
As a work around I modified my /usr/share/laptop-mode-tools/modules/sched-mc-power-savings to point to
sys/devices/system/cpu/sched_smt_power_savings.

Thanks for reporting the bug.

Does making the above change trigger power savings ? Do you see any scheduler
messages in dmesg when switching AC => BATTERY ?

hi i checked my dmesg using "dmesg | tail" here are the results:

first one was taken while ac was plugged-in.

second was taken after unplugging the ac and running on battery.
