Bug Description
In Firefox here is the list of dictionaries I have with English and French language support installed (see attachments).
fr_* is not "translated" into their language names (and English languages appear two times, but that's bug #66015)
This problem affects both firefox and thunderbird at least (but not Evolution).

Hello Jonathan.
Thanks for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird and Firefox.
You made this bug report in 2008 and there have been several versions of Thunderbird and Firefox since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket? Or, if it is still a problem, could you come to Launchpad and make a comment to that effect?
