No sound more with Bagpipe software (/dev/dsp)

Bug Description
I had to upgrade from last LTS to natty to get new printer driver. I reinstalled the software my wife use for her music activity. This software can be found on the following page :

and the binary http://
My new printer is working fine but I can't have "Bagpipe" work ! When clicking on the icon an error message appears there is a problem with /dev/dsp
When i click on 'play' comes the following message 'could not gain access to /dev/sound/dsp for writing.
