Package should not depend on Open Office Writer

Bug Description

The package is demanding that Open Office Writer be installed. I DO NOT use Open Office or want it on my hard drive.

Currently some language-support-* packages depend on* where as others don't (probably due to the package not existing in those languages). Trouble is that* depends on, that in turn depends on all of

It seems that since xubuntu does not install (but instead abiword and gnumeric) that it would be nice for all language-support-* packages to suggest (or recommend) the installation of* rather than a depend on it. This would allow xubuntu to install language-support-* packages and to use the language-selector package more effectively.

Thiis bug is still present in karmic. Openoffice should depend on language support: not the other way around!

In addition, the language support dependency causes to be installed by default on Ubuntu Server, which makes no sense at all. There's no GUI... why install and X11 dependencies and etc on a server?

oops... may have jumped the gun on that. the box I'm working on may have had standard Ubuntu desktop installed by mistake rather than the server version...

Can somebody confirm this bug please?
