2011-02-09 12:50:37 Jinkyu Yi bug added bug
2011-02-10 00:32:02 Jinkyu Yi description Binary package hint: language-selector According in my research, file "29-language-selector-ko-kr.conf" in /etc/fonts/conf.avail was first designed by early Korean Ubuntu users for view fonts from MS Windows corrently. They thought Korean fonts from MS Windows view better when turn off Antialias at special size range. But today, this file makes problems and setting from it is unnecessary now. So many Korean Ubuntu users erase this file first after install Ubuntu! And this is not a bug suddenly appeared, it's old and known well for Korean Ubuntu users. This file doesn't need today, so please remove it. There's no problem reported after remove this file. p.s If this bug fixed, is it only affects for *buntu? I want to make it affects other linux distributions. ----------This is list of problems in file "29-language-selector-ko-kr.conf"---------- This file makes Korean fonts to turn off antialias and hinting in size 10~22 except some fonts so many Korean fonts are viewing ugly. And, in 10.10 it makes some English fonts size 8~16 turn off antialias. Control spacing property for Korea is unnecessary setting. There is no font "Guseul Mono" in Ubuntu default setting with Korean translation pack installed.
