Bug Description

Binary package hint: language-selector

When clicking the button "Apply system-wide" an authentication dialog appears. When canceling this dialog, it will not be shown again. So you will be unable to authenticate after accidentially canceling.

Yes, cancelling an auth. dialog makes unexpected things happen. I believe that this is really the same issue as reported in bug 655094, so I mark this bug as a duplicate.

It's not the same issue. There are no errors shown in the terminal, and it doesn't freeze.

True. I still suspect that since both occur if you do not click "Authenticate" in the auth. dialog, there is probably a common solution. But I'm just guessing.

I removed the duplicate mark, so this bug gets searchable again.
