Bug Description
Binary package hint: language-selector
Thanks to bug #289165 being fixed, support for the default (installation) language is now suggested to be installed in jaunty, unlike in intrepid where support for default language is not suggested.
However, the problem in the later comment of bug #289165 persists:
"it only suggested and installed partial language support, ie. did not install language-support-fi which would mean the user still would have to realize she would have to scroll the Supported Languages list and put a real check mark in to have the whole support.
So, default language should have the full language support suggested instead of just the basic translations."
To reproduce in eg. VirtualBox:
1. Install jaunty alpha 2 (or newer) without network connection, selecting eg. Finnish ("suomi") as the installation language.
2. After installation, enable network connection and boot in the newly installed system.
3. Wait for the language support notification, start up language support tool
4. Accept refreshing repositories, and accept installing missing language support
Expected result:
Full language support for the default language (Finnish) gets installed, similarly to what would happen if network connection was available during Ubuntu installation (where installer takes care of the language support installation)
Actual result:
Only Basic Translations get installed, leaving Extra Translations and Writing Aids uninstalled
