Unable to turn off complex character input in Language Support

Binary package hint: language-selector

I am unable to un-tick the 'Enable support to enter complex characters' check-box under 'Input Methods' in gnome-language-selector, if I un-tick it and click 'Apply' it switches itself back on again.

Is there another way to switch this option off??

This issue seems to have reappeared in Hardy. I have the exact same problem as the original poster, I can't turn off complex character support, if I do it's ticked again after I restart language-selector.

This should have been fixed in language-selector 0.3.0 in Hardy. Can you please test if the upgrade fixes this issue for you?
