Bug Description
Due to the main->universe transition of the policykit-gnome and gnome-app-install packages, both applications shows untranslated now, because the PolicyKit-gnome.mo and gnome-app-
Due to this issue, "Authorizations" and "Add/Remove Applications" from System-
To fix that, we need to include all the translations .mo files into the policykit-gnome and gnome-app-install packages for all languages, as the other universe packages.

That's not a bug those have been moved to universe and policykit-1 and software-center are used in karmic

it's also worth noting that update-manager clean those on upgrade

What about including the translations into policykit-gnome and gnome-app-install packages, so the .mo files lays inside /usr/share/locale/ directory, like the other universe packages? That way, the translation efforts will still be useful for that two applications.

Not a langpack bug. PolicyKit-gnome and gnome-app-install are now into Universe, so its translations should be included in the package itself.

The policykit-gnome package contains translations in Lucid, but not in Karmic - I guess we can live with this, marking bug as fix released.
