Bug Description

language-pack-*-base explicitly recommends firefox-locale-*, even if firefox is not installed. language-selector should now install automaticly firefox-locale when firefox is installed. This recommends should not be necessary.

right, the dependency could be move to firefox instead.

You could check if Firefox is installed while installing the language packs. Pseudo code:

If Firefox = Installed Then
sudo apt-get install firefox-locale-*
Else
(firefox isn't installed, so do nothing)
EndIf
