Bug Description

Binary package hint: kxmame

A newer svn build of KXMAME 2.0 beta 2 has been available since June 7th, 2007 with (optional) SDLMAME support. Please update the package from this source so users can enjoy SDLMAME support with KXMAME.

* Note, for some people, ./configure --disable-joystick must be used to get the source to compile.

for anyone interested, DoktorSeven on the ubuntuformus has created a x86 ubuntu deb package of this build of mame, so no compilation is necessary. it is available here:

The upstream source code really is available in the page linked in the bug description. I see no reason for it not being packaged and added to the Ubuntu repositories.
