Spectacle crashes Kwin

While using the shortcut Super+PrtScrn the screen shot is taken and Kwin immediately crashes. I can get Kwin back by running Kwin via Krunner and proceed with what I am doing. Only pressing PrtScrn and letting Spectacle launch has crashed Kwin as well but I was only able to replicate that once. System has package updates which may have fixed the problem.
