Bug Description

Binary package hint: kvm

It seems that kvm is segfaulting when shutting down a guest in virt-manager, if there's no <acpi/> section in the XML virtual machine definition.

From /var/log/messages:
Apr 23 12:51:49 t61p kernel: [ 4943.180157] kvm[7998]: segfault at 22b rip 459267 rsp 7fff30913928 error 4

XML virtual machine description attached.

Had the same error.
Additionally -> when i tried to restore the saved XP-VM i found out that the snapshot file was somehow deleted after the error occured.

System Hardy Heron 64 on QuadCore Xeon UP3220. VM created with VMM XP Pro 32Bit, 512Mb, 1CPU, installed to separate partition.

Hope this can be of any help.

Seems like the XML-File in /etc/libvirt/qemu has gone as well.
