[feisty] kvm depends of kvm-api-9 but that package is uninstallable

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kvm

When install kvm it shows this error:

kvm: Depends: kvm-api-9 but it's not installable

It looks like the kernel should have this in its Provides:. The Feisty kernel (2.6.20-14-generic) does have kvm by default.

What version of kvm were you installing? An update to kvm 18-1ubuntu1 was just published today. If you didn't use that version, please try again with the update.

The problem is that when you want to install this package, there is no such kvm-api-X package that satisfies that dependency. So it's impossible to install kvm.

I can confirm this is still a problem with kvm 18-1ubuntu1. It depends on kvm-api-9, which is reported as being uninstallable. I'm using the 2.6.20-14-generic kernel on amd64. So the status of this bug should be reverted to 'Confirmed' or 'In progress'.

Just things out of sync. Next kernel upload will contain the kvm-api-9 provide. This isn't a bug on kvm anyway.

The problem still persists with kernel 2.6.20-15.27.
