Kupfer does not open synaptic

When i run kupfer and type synaptic on it, synaptic icon appears.
When i press enter, system require me the root password.
I type it and press enter again.

Kupfer do nothing.

Anothers app´s as apper, etc works well, only fails with synaptic.
