German language-support isn´t installed

When I install kubuntu 6.06 by default only german-language-pack is installed, and english-language-support.
IMHO german-language-support should be installed instead.

How are you installing German language pack? For what reason? When? These questions are important so that we may determine if this is a bug or a wish list.

This is still an issue even with feisty, when I install it and go to the "language settings" I get a warning that the language support for german isn't completely installed and some packages are downloaded.
Also sometimes when I install new apps and revisit the "language options" dialog I get this warning again. IMHO there's some problem with the dependancies so that some of the language-packs aren't installed.

What packages is it installing and what locales package did you install if different than what it wants to install? Did you restart firefox after the packages were installed?

I experienced this when installing ubuntu, not kubuntu, so it's a desktop-independant problem.
