In Kubuntu Amarok is associated with Speex file but cannot play it

Bug Description
Release: Dapper Flight 5 (live cd)
When trying to play Speex file from "Examples" folder, Amarok is started, but does not play the file.
When I try to drag the file to Amarok, it says that file is not playable.
If this format is not supported then the file should be removed from examples. Or better, coded should be added.

The speex file in the Examples folder works correctly with the Amarok found on a more recent Kubuntu Live CD (20060409)
