Bug Description
Regular user for some years, without problem.
Since update to 22.04, whenever I recall a previously stored desktop setting (stored running 22.04!) the desktop becomes immediately inaccessible, no more mouse activity is available, only log out and log in re-institute access.
I wonder if I should file another bug, since any changes of the desktop (applets, applications) are also not stored after a 'normal' shutdown and restart; without any use of PlasmaConfigSaver.

Hi there, thanks for the report.
Since we're talking about a running system, Ubiquity is probably the wrong component to point this problem to. So we need to fix where this is filed. I'm not quite familiar with the software in question that is managing the stored desktop setting, but it sounds like that where this bug needs to go.
If you're not sure what application that is, maybe posting a screenshot would help?
