Bug Description

Binary package hint: restricted-manager

The Kubuntu live CD has a popup on startup telling me to install restricted manager drivers, this isn't very useful for a live CD.

How come -kde has an autostart file and gnome doesn't?

Oh, it does have an autostart file, somehow I missed it. Not sure why it doesn't autostart then on the live CD.

It's not a restricted-manager issue, it also affects (according to Jonathan Riddell) adept_notifier and other applications with autostart entries. Moved into kubuntu-meta.
