There is no control panel for touchpad in Kubuntu

Bug Description

I had to install the Gnome application gsynaptics in order to get some control
over my touchpad i.e. disable tapping.

Correction - gsynaptics doesn't need super user rights.

The default tapping configuration is horrible, so a GUI would be nice. I'm not sure why qsynaptics seems not to be in the repositories for hardy. What happened to it?
