ktorrent stuck resolving hostname for web seed

Bug Description
As an experiment I used ktorrent to create a .torrent file without a tracker but with a web seed. When I open the .torrent in ktorrent it does not down load the file. The Webseeds tab shows "Resolving hostname <host>".
When I load the same .torrent in to Transmission it downloads the webseed successfully.
