Bug Description

Binary package hint: ksystemlog

I've attached a screenshot with a view of the entry in ksystemlog and a corresponding bash shell running tail -f on auth.log that shows the entry never really existed... (?).

Wondering if it was somehow clashing memory with some other log, I did a grep for 13:05:59 in /var/log and came up with nothing. So I have no idea where the entry came from.

some significant configurations that may be related:
kubuntu 4.3.3 current as of 11/12/09 with backports enabled, no PPAs or whatnot.

ATI Radeon with r350 running desktop effects and radeon.modeset=on (no errors in xorg.log or kdm.log for the first time since 8.10! woo hoo!) -- I only mention this because in jaunty I could always crash my system by opening ksystemlog and bringing up a submenu item while desktop effects were on. Probably unrelated.

Sorry for not more info, it's pretty intermittent so far.
