Bug Description

In debug mode, the kernel build doesn't appear to progress.

Test case:
Run kpatch-build in debug mode. When the kernel build starts, the output stops until the build completes.

Regression potential:
No, this is only a cosmetic change.

Updated patch, this one corrected the problem we discussed from the last one where a variable could be set outside of the program and have bad side-effects.

This bug was fixed in the package kpatch - 0.3.2-1ubuntu4

kpatch (0.3.2-1ubuntu4) xenial; urgency=medium

  [ Chris J Arges ]
  * Use Build-Depends from the Ubuntu linux source package.

  [ Benjamin M Romer ]
  * When running in debug mode, write the linux build output to stdout as well
as the log file. (LP: #1566924)
