Bug Description

I always apply updates as they come in. Suddenly there are 94 updates available. When I try to apply I get:

Unknown error - KpackageKit
Unknown error, please report a bug.
More information is available in the detailed report.

Clicking the details tab does nothing except change ">>>" to "<<<".

Same thing happens when I try to install or uninstall any package.

Upgrading to oneiric is not a solution, I've tried it earlier and it bricks the system.

I just had the same problem (also KPackageKit on 11.04), the only workaround I could find was to do a "sudo apt-get upgrade" on the terminal, to get at least the necessary updates done.
