Bug Description
Binary package hint: kpackagekit
There is a confusing usability problem with the way the search field is implemented.
The search domain appears to be "All packages", even if you've selected a different packages group. For instance, if you select the "KDE Desktop" packages group and do a search, you might think you are searching within that group but you aren't.
Example procedure to illustrate:
1. Launch KPackageKit
2. Change the package group to "KDE desktop".
3. Do a search on "screensaver".
Note that the results will be all "screensaver" packages, not just those constrained to the "KDE desktop" group.
See screenshot below.

I'm thinking that the package selections aren't related to the search at all. They're just there as lists for package categories. It's extremely confusing, however.
