Bug Description

This issue can be found in kubuntu 16.04 and 16.10, other version are not tested

When text include east Asian characters, but the font do not include glyph of those characters, text were cropped so part of a character is invisible.

This issue exist in konsole, kate/kwrite, konquerer (when opening a text file), but not in kmail.

How to reproduce:
Using the live CD, select a corresponding language (Chinese, Japanese or Korean), booting into desktop, opening konsole, and run `ls -l`. The rendering of the output text is abnormal.

Copying the output into kate and kmail, see the differences.

See attachments for demo.
