Bug Description
Binary package hint: kompose
If no window is open and you activate Kompose (say, move your mouse to the correct corner) you see an empty desktop with no (clear) way of how to exit from this situation. Yes, the Esc-key does it but how can you know this? Actually Kompose is useless even with only one window open.
This happens, taking that you only have one virtual desktop or you have selected only to show the current virtual desktop.
I believe that a nice notice (balloon for example) could tell the user that Kompose will not be activated or the then it just wouldn't do anything (with the risk of the user wondering why it doesn't work).
