Bug Description
Binary package hint: knetworkmanager
Befor buying an USB modem for 3G networks I decided to check if Knetworkmanager allows me to set me this device with minimal hassle. Unfortunately this was not so - in "manage connections" window I have all connection types available but not broadband, which is a grey tab.
I checked this on Ubuntu 10.04 and 9.10. At the same time, Gnome nm-applet allows me to add such a connection quite conveniently.
So, the temporary solution for me is to switch to nm-applet. But I think this functionality should be added to KDE as well.
