Bug Description
I am testing Kubuntu 8.10 Alpha 5 on a Thinkpad T42 with Atheros (AR5213A) wireless chipset. knetworkmanager starts fine, shows both eth0 and wlan0, shows wireless networks but does not connect when selecting one to connect to.
A fresh installation from the Kubuntu Alpha 4 works so it broke somewhere between Alpha 4 and 5. I am not sure which package to check. I upgraded all packages except anything related to networkmanager and dhclient but still breaks.
I do not know what else to try at the moment. With some help I am willing to do testing to help isolate the problem.
Please let me know what you need from me.
