Bug Description

Binary package hint: knetworkmanager

Sometimes after suspend/resume cycle Knetworkmanager not initialize wireless network. When this bug is occurs i must suspend/resume cycle and knetworkmanager reinitialize wireless network correctly. When enable/disable wireless network key is pressed knetworkmanager also not initialize wireless network (bluetooth works correctly) Im using HP-NX7400 laptop with Core 2 duo 7400 processor. what ubuntu version are you using? Fiesty / Gutsy?

I have seen this on Gutsy as well. I do a
    sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
and then KNEtworkmanager initializes correctly. Can you see if this works for you?

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta or later?

I'm using 8.10 and used the auto upgrade route to get from 8.04. I did this via the ethernet port and I cannot get the wireless side of things to work. Here are a couple of text dumps. My system is an NX7400...

Daniel: This bug is not reproducible in 8.10. knetwork manager work correctly on ubuntu 8.10 so you can close this bug. Regards and thanks for attention
