Bug Description

Binary package hint: kmymoney2

After upgrading to Gutsy Gibbon kmymony2 has lost hbci-support.

0.8.5-1build1 ==> with hbci
0.8.7-2 ==> no hcbi

This seems to be on purpose as the dependencies don't show the required packages.
Is there a reason?

This bug should be forwarded upstream to Debian, since this is a package taken straight from the Debian repositories.

Sorry to disagree, but this is not really a fix. It should have been
forwarded upstream so that the Debian maintainer decides to include or not
the configure flags.

Were there any changes between 0.8.8-1 and 0.8.8-2?
I just upgraded to hardy and there is still no HBCI support.

Unfortunately the hint from the README.Debian doesn't work anymore.

The issues were fixed in 0.8.9, which is already packaged in Debian. That should be ported to Hardy to make HBCI work.

For 0.8.9, there is a new package in Debian for KBanking plugin. See here: http://packages.qa.debian.org/k/kmymoney2-plugin-aqbanking.html
I think that should be ported too, otherwise the kbanking plugin installation has to be done manually.

It's been awhile since this one was looked at and the problem is solved. Can we get a real resolution for kubuntu BEFORE Intrepid please?
