Bug Description
Binary package hint: kmyfirewall
to get root privileges, kmyfirewall calls kdesu. In Ubuntu 8.04 there was a symlink kdesu->kdesudo, which is no longer there in 8.10. kmyfirewall will not perform any settings unless this link is set.

Same problem here. If I run kmyfirewall as a standard user and try to run or install the firewall, I should be prompted for root password, but nothing happens.
Manually adding the kdesu symlink fixes the issue to me.
