This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. While running an Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline or third-party kernel) please enter the following command in a terminal window:

apport-collect 1818381

and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

If, due to the nature of the issue you have encountered, you are unable to run this command, please add a comment stating that fact and change the bug status to 'Confirmed'.

Sorry. I was very busy this week. Ugh. Hmm. No. I did "apport-collect" long
after the incident (Sat) on Monday evening.

Do you want me to "apport-collect" right after the incident? I can
replicate the issue (two finger scroll stops working).

This time, I replicate the issue and run apport-collect afterward (requested by developer). I hope this helps!

Looks like it's not Hibernate (S4) but Suspend (S3).

Anyway, please remove "blacklist i2c_i801" in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf and see if it helps.

Okay. I checked the POWER setting. You're correct. It only showed Suspend (no hibernate).

Anyway, I commented out "blacklist i2c_i801" and rebooted. After suspend, two finger scroll works.
