Bug Description
Binary package hint: kleansweep
Discovered on Edgy Eft (6.10)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. On a working Gnome Edgy installation, install Kleansweep through apt/synaptic/add & remove
2. Go to click on Kleansweep after installation in "System Tools"
Results:
1. Dialog pops up saying "Could not launch menu item", "Failed to execute child process "kdesu" (No such file or directory)"
Expected Result:
Kleansweep to run (after prompting for password)
Other Notes:
I tried manually installing kdesu, and apt came back with the following:
Package kdesu is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package kdesu has no installation candidate
Would it be possible to either install kdesu, or link gksudo to kdesu while running under Gnome? (Some form of environment variable etc)
I had this issue too on my Edgy system. Confirming.
