Bug Description

kitty seems to have some trouble with rendering . I have installed fonts-powerline and the setup works correctly on tilix, as can be seen at

http://home.alephnull.site/public/screenshots/tilix.png

Without setting symbolmap in kitty.conf, the original symbol at \ue0a0 is displayed

After setting

symbol_map U+E0A0-U+E0A2,U+E0B0-U+E0B3 PowerlineSymbols

There is a spurious character being displayed but the prompt text is identical in all three screenshots.
