Bug Description

Binary package hint: kiso

Took a FreeDOS ISO image. Opened it with kiso. Added a BIOS flashing tool and the BIOS that belongs to it. Clicked "save image". No error message, but also nothing saved.

Ubuntu 8.10, 64-Bit.
kiso 0.8.3, KDE 3.5.10.

Unless the publisher id of the actual image is set, the saving really does nothing. Please check the publisher id of that FreeDOS ISO image at "Extras/Image information". If its value is empty, there is an easy workaround. Please set an arbitrary (but non-empty) value at "Extras/Set publisher id" and check the saving functionality again. Please let me know if my "theory" solves your problem, because I'm about to create a patch (in Gentoo).

KIso has been removed from distribution and will not be available in new releases of Ubuntu. Unfortunately this also means that no further bugfixes or improvements will be made to this application. Thanks for the bug report all the same.

Changed in kiso (Ubuntu):
