Bug Description
Process 6242 - kioslave5
Summary
The process kioslave5 (with pid 6242) is using approximately 28.4 GB of memory.
It is using 28.4 GB privately, and a further 5.6 MB that is, or could be, shared with other programs.
Dividing up the shared memory between all the processes sharing that memory we get a reduced shared memory usage of 455.0 KB. Adding that to the private usage, we get the above mentioned total memory footprint of 28.4 GB.
81.9 GB is swapped out to disk, probably due to a low amount of available memory left.
Extreme system performance issues are being experienced (see 1971455) possibly due to the excessive resource usage by this package. Issues with this package resource use have been reported numerous times over the past several years.

Further testing suggests this is a significant/major contributor to performance issues experienced in Gimp file saves (1971455).
