@ Alex10336: Can you provide output ? of:

dpkg-query --list *flash-*

I do think this is exspected if U don't have adobe-flash-properties-kde installed. Does the referenced gtk-version work in KDE-environment?

Use « /usr/bin/flash-player-properties » open flash properties correctly.

----
Uninistall flash to switch with « adobe-flash-properties-kde » has recommended. (logout and post new comment)

use « kcmshell4 kcm_adobe_flash_player » open flash properties too. (maybe also in control panel)

Hi all,

looks like being the same issue on my end. In my case, this is a fresh install of Kubuntu 16.04 LTS. "QApt Batch Installer" offers me to install a "Flash" package for Firefox (I could figure out recently this is actually flashplugin-installer), but systematically fails, without any details available in the GUI. Fed up receiving this installation suggestion again and again, I ended up installing flashplugin-installer manually, which succeeded, replacing btw 2 other packages that were already installed automatically on my machine: adobe-flash-properties-gtk / adobe-flashplugin. I can provide additional information if needed to troubleshoot this issue.

Changed in kinit (Ubuntu):
