Bug Description

Binary package hint: kile

Description: Ubuntu 11.04
Release: 11.04

Since I upgraded my system from Maverick to Natty, I can no longer insert mathematical symbols by clicking on one of the symbols in the "symbols" side tab. The disk icon in the document tab indicates that the file was changed, but it is not.

I just built a custom deb package from the Maverick source code (version 1:2.1.0~svn1112278beta4-2ubuntu1). As this version works like a charme, the reported bug must have been introduced in patch level 2ubuntu2.
/* I'll stay with this version until this bug is marked as solved. */

Same here with the new version from backports or from Oneiric Ocelot 1:2.1.0~svn2010122beta5-1ubuntu1 :
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kile

The new version 1:2.1.0~svn2010122beta5-1ubuntu1 solves the autocompletion problem ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kile/+bug/777728 ) , but the symbols side tab problem is still not working.

But I have found a version with solves both problems. The packages can be downloaded from here:
