Kile ViewPDF doesn't offer system PDF viewer

Kile doesn't offer to use xdg-open for viewing PDF files. This is annoying because I configured my system to use a certain PDF Viewer and Kile simply doesn't offer to respect that.

I expected it to at least offer to respect a freedekstoply configured application.

So in the end, I expect it to run xdg-open on the PDF file, which I will configure manually now.

Unfortunately we can't fix this (rather we do not want to). We could patch xdg-open support in, but then we would have to do that for all tool operations that could possibly make use of xdg-open resulting in a quite big patch. Thus I am closing this bug as Won't Fix.

Please file a wish at https://bugs.kde.org for Kile. If the Kile developers add xdg-open support we do not have to maintain a patch + it should go into the official Kile code base anyway.

Is this a NEW bug rather than WONTFIX then?
