If I try to install kile with the suggested packages, I encounter the following error:

Package texlive-doc-base is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

This bug was fixed in the package kile - 4:2.1.3-2ubuntu2
