Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1- Start Kid3
2- Open a folder with 6349 mp3 files
2- Select all files
3- Remove Tag 1 (if exists), and edit multiple tags
4- Save changes
Changes are saved for only the first 1181 files. The remaining files have either partial changes or none.

Could you please check if this bug also exists in the latest version (3.2.1)? The Kid3 PPA (see http:// kid3.sourceforg e.net/) has a package for Ubuntu 14.04. I think that this error was fixed with the improvement "Reduce number of open file descriptors with TagLib >= 1.8" in version 3.1.2.
Should the bug still be present in the latest version, then please tell me if you are using TagLib (your files have ID3v2.4.0 tags or you have disabled the Id3libMetadata plugin) or id3lib (default configuration for files with ID3v2.3.0 tags).
